Creator Agreement
This agreement applies to all users who apply for or hold verified creator status on Nerion. It supplements the Terms of Service. By submitting a creator application, you confirm you have read and agree to both documents.
1. Eligibility
To apply as a creator on Nerion you must:
- Hold an active Nerion account in good standing (no active suspensions or bans).
- Be at least 16 years old. Applicants under 16 may be considered on an exception basis if they can demonstrate active participation in mod or software development — contact legal@nerionmc.com to request an exception. Applicants under the age of majority in their jurisdiction must provide verifiable parental or guardian consent.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
- Not have had creator status permanently revoked in the past.
How to apply, what Nerion evaluates, and what happens after a decision.
2. Application Process
Creator applications are submitted through your profile in the Nerion web interface. The application form asks for:
- Full name — your first and last name as they appear on an official document. This is used for identity verification purposes in connection with this agreement.
- Motivation statement — why you want to become a creator and what you aim to build on the platform.
- Instance concept — a brief description of the type of instance or experience you plan to publish first.
- Agreement acceptance — explicit confirmation that you have read and accept this Creator Agreement.
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. Nerion reviews all applications manually and may request additional information before making a decision.
3. Review, Acceptance, and Rejection
Nerion aims to review applications within 14 calendar days of submission. You will be notified of the outcome via your registered email address or a platform notification.
Nerion evaluates applications based on — but not limited to — the originality of the proposed concept, the applicant's account standing, and alignment with platform values.
If your application is rejected, Nerion will provide a brief reason. You may submit a new application after 30 calendar days from the date of rejection. A revised application must address the reason for the prior rejection. There is no limit to the number of times you may reapply.
If your application is accepted, you gain creator status immediately. You may publish as many instances as you wish from that point forward, subject to the obligations in this agreement.
Payment integration requirements and revenue share for creator stores.
4. Tebex Integration Requirement
Creators who wish to monetize their Nerion instances through a Tebex store must configure the official Nerion creator code in their Tebex store settings before enabling any paid offerings. This creator code entitles Nerion to 5% of gross revenue generated through the creator's Tebex store for transactions related to Nerion instances.
Operating a monetized instance on Nerion without the creator code active constitutes a material breach of this agreement and may result in immediate suspension of creator status and forfeiture of outstanding revenue until compliance is restored.
The Nerion creator code is provided to you upon acceptance into the Creator Program. If you need to retrieve or rotate your code, contact creators@nerionmc.com.
5. Revenue Share and Payouts
Revenue is processed and disbursed by Tebex under their own payout schedule and policies. Nerion receives its 5% share automatically through the Tebex creator code mechanism — you are not required to manually transfer funds to Nerion.
Nerion does not set a minimum payout threshold on its own share; Tebex's minimum payout threshold applies to your share of revenue as defined in their terms.
Revenue associated with fraudulent transactions, chargebacks, or violations of this agreement or the Terms of Service will be forfeited and may be reversed.
6. Monetization Rules
As a creator you may not:
- Offer paid advantages that give paying players an unfair competitive edge over non-paying players, in violation of Mojang's commercial usage guidelines.
- Artificially inflate transaction volume through coordinated purchases, bots, or self-purchases intended to manipulate analytics or payout totals.
- Misrepresent paid items — descriptions and previews must accurately reflect what the buyer receives.
- Sell or bundle items in a way designed to bypass consumer protection laws in the buyer's jurisdiction.
The innovation commitment and how Nerion evaluates duplication.
7. Originality and Innovation Commitment
By applying as a creator and each time you publish a new instance, you declare that the experience you are offering does not substantially replicate an existing instance already published on Nerion without a meaningful differential contribution.
Nerion evaluates originality based on — but not limited to — gameplay mechanics, thematic concept, map design, rule sets, and target audience. Minor cosmetic differences or superficial rebranding of an existing experience do not constitute sufficient differentiation.
Nerion reserves the right to reject the publication of a specific instance deemed to be substantially duplicative, at its reasonable discretion, without revoking your creator status. You may appeal such a decision by emailing creators@nerionmc.com with an explanation of how your instance differs from the one identified.
Publishing rights, individual instance actions, and creator responsibilities.
8. Publishing Rights
Once accepted, you may submit an unlimited number of instances on Nerion for review. Each instance undergoes a manual approval process before it is made available to players. Nerion reviews instances to verify they are free of malware, comply with applicable requirements, and meet platform standards. You will be notified of the outcome via email or dashboard notification. You are responsible for ensuring your instance meets all requirements prior to submission to avoid delays or rejection.
9. Individual Instance Actions
Nerion may delist, suspend, or restrict access to a specific instance independently of your overall creator status. Actions against a single instance do not automatically affect your other instances or your creator status, unless the violation is systemic or severe.
Grounds for individual instance action include — but are not limited to — receipt of a significant volume of player reports, detection of malicious content, violation of Mojang's EULA, or failure to maintain a reasonably available and stable experience. Nerion will notify you of the action and the reason via email or dashboard notification.
10. Creator Responsibilities
In addition to the obligations in Section 12 and 16 of the Terms of Service, as a creator you are responsible for:
- Keeping your contact email active and monitoring it for notices from Nerion regarding your instances or creator status.
- Responding to Nerion's requests for information within 7 calendar days of a notice being sent.
- Promptly removing or correcting any instance that is found to violate applicable requirements, upon notification.
Content warranty and your liability for content distributed through your instances.
11. Content Warranty and Indemnification
You warrant that all files, mods, plugins, and any other content included in your instances do not contain malware, spyware, ransomware, remote access tools, or any other code designed to harm, exploit, or access user systems or data without consent.
Nerion reviews all instances submitted for public listing using automated scanning tools and manual inspection, acting in good faith. However, this review process does not constitute a guarantee that all malicious or harmful content will be detected. Nerion expressly disclaims any warranty that its review process will identify every potential threat.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Nerion, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- malicious, harmful, or illegal content distributed through your instances, whether or not detected during Nerion's review;
- your breach of this Section or any other provision of this agreement; or
- any third-party claim related to content you have published on the platform.
This indemnification obligation survives termination of your creator status.
When and how creator status ends, and what happens next.
12. Termination of Creator Status
Nerion may terminate your creator status for any of the following reasons:
- Material breach of this agreement (including operating a monetized instance without the required Tebex creator code).
- Violation of the Terms of Service, including Sections 4, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, or 17.
- Distribution of malicious, illegal, or fraudulent content through any of your instances.
- Repeated failure to respond to Nerion compliance notices within the required period.
- Voluntary resignation — you may request termination of creator status at any time by contacting creators@nerionmc.com.
Upon termination, all your instances are delisted and dashboard access is revoked. Verified revenue earned prior to the breach date and not subject to forfeiture will be settled through Tebex according to their normal payout schedule.
If creator status is terminated for cause, you may reapply no sooner than 90 calendar days after termination, subject to Nerion's discretion. Permanent revocation may be imposed for severe or repeated violations, with no right to reapply.
13. Changes to this Agreement
Nerion may update this agreement periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of creator status after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated agreement. If you do not agree, you may resign your creator status before the effective date.
